My Story
I read all the baby books, took the birth prep classes, and got the nursery ready. I did not expect the fear, anxiety, and feeling of overwhelm to all come crashing down in postpartum.
Even as a mental health therapist, I was not prepared for the physical, mental, and emotional transformation called matrescence. I leaned on my own therapy support and knew that this is where I wanted to give back as a therapist. I took advanced trainings in postpartum mood disorders and perinatal EMDR.
After having worked in community mental health and University settings I opened my private practice in 2023. I feel deeply honored to walk side by side the women who come to see me. My greatest passion is letting clients know they are not alone and helping them see lasting change.
